Elizabeth Clawson, MS, PhD, LCP, HSPP is an internationally renowned pediatric clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric feeding disorders. She co-founded the Pediatric Feeding Institute and owns Thrive! Pediatric Feeding Therapy. Elizabeth earned her MS and PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with rotations in pediatric feeding therapy and hospital consultation.
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Clawson is dedicated to treating children with feeding disorders using the TR-eat® model. She has numerous research publications, presentations, and consultation contracts in this area. As a dynamic speaker, she combines clinical expertise with research-based outcomes, supporting intervention strategies in the acclaimed Mealtime Miseries workshop, which she has co-conducted since 2007.

Rick is a seasoned and highly respected business and marketing professional with extensive knowledge and expertise in operations and management. He holds a degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Rick's career began at several advertising agencies, where he honed his marketing and project management skills. Transitioning to the public sector, Rick dedicated nearly a decade to the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation. Here, he was responsible for grants management, public relations, special projects management, marketing, and research across a broad spectrum of programs.
At the Southeastern Institute of Research, Rick conducted customized market research to help clients make informed strategic business decisions. Currently, he provides marketing support for the Basic Utility Vehicle initiative, which aims to change lives and communities by providing low-cost, affordable transportation solutions.
In his role at Thrive Pediatric Feeding & Therapy and Pediatric Feeding Institute, Rick manages day-to-day operations and oversees all business functions. His responsibilities include client liaison functions, course management, logistics, business development, marketing, human resources, and accounting.
